The world has problems and so do we. Don't forget that we aren't much more than just slightly more evolved apes. Deep down we have an animalistic nature, we feel things deeply and quickly to the point where we react on instinct and pain and aggression or even passion.
Things never truly get "better", we just mature and realize things for ourselves at our own pace. Don't let that get you down. The goal is to say, "This is what I want, and I'm gonna do it. No one can stop me if I want it bad enough."

I can definitely say that things will not get better. In fact, they might even get worse. But the best thing to do is grin and bear it. Go through life having fun, without a care in the world.
